Why Sweetpea?

So many of you are probably wondering why I chose the name Sweetpeas of The Sky Pregnancy/Infant Loss Support Group. When I found out I was pregnant with our first baby I did a lot of research of what size is my baby, how are they growing, etc. At the time my baby was about the size of a sweetpea, the vegetable. We started calling our baby our lil sweetpea. After my miscarriage I started looking up miscarriage quotes etc and randomly typed in sweetpea and the sweetpea flower came up. It is so precious and soft and usually pink or purple in color so I decided from there on out I would get a sweetpea flower tattoo in honor of our babies someday. I have yet to get my memorial tattoo but am planning something for the future. I also am not very religious and did not want my group based on religion because everyone has different views so instead of angels which typical for baby loss I thought Sweetpeas would be a great name!
